“Laurence-isms”

Life isn’t a single performance. It’s a full production.
And like any great story, it unfolds in acts and chapters..
Some are joyful. Some are heavy. Some feel like a twist we didn’t see coming.
But here’s the truth: none of them are wasted.

A lot of us move through life with this quiet panic.
As if there’s a countdown clock ticking above us.
We worry we’re running out of time. Time to:
Succeed.
Find love.
Discover our purpose.
Finally feel peace.

We’re afraid the credits will roll before we ever get to the good part.

But let me remind you of something I believe deeply, in my bones:
You are not late.
You are not behind.
You are not defined by one act.

Every chapter you’ve lived has shaped you.
And no, we don’t stay in any chapter forever. Not the hard ones, not even the great ones.
But each one is building your story.
A story only you can write.

And here’s what I believe in my heart:
The best things may not have happened to you yet.
The most exciting scenes, the most meaningful people, the most beautiful places — They may all still be ahead.
You haven’t yet experienced some of the most enjoyable moments of your life.

And that is what living is.

So breathe.
Don’t rush the chapters.
Don’t fear the transitions or the unexpected plot changes.
Your story is still unfolding and the pages ahead may just be the best ones yet.

Life is a full production. How do you want to live and share your story?

How do you want to go further?

Tips to Go Further: Here’s one step you can take to make sure you go the extra mile.

When waking up in the morning, prioritize getting morning sunlight into your system soon after waking up. This could look like a morning run, getting out early to walk to your favorite coffee shop, or even opening your blinds and soaking in the light for a few minutes. Our circadian rhythm is heavily influenced by light exposure, and we are most sensitive to white light within the first hour of waking up. Sunlight exposure can help us regulate our circadian system so that we feel more awake, get better sleep, and improve our moods.

Tools to Go Further

If you find yourself procrastinating on work, try following the two-minute rule.

If something takes less than two-minutes, do it right away.

Don’t say: I’ll do it later. The tasks that seem inconsequential pile up to become a more substantial task, and one email that should take less than five minutes to respond to becomes dozens that require an hour of your attention. By working on small tasks as they come in, you ultimately streamline your to-do list and keep your mind less cluttered. So reply to that text, or tidy your workspace, or write your daily affirmation. Whatever it is, don’t let the little things snowball!

Time is luck.
